Ducasse at Eiffel Tower

How much more French can you get? Celebrated toque Alain Ducasse ("the world's superstar chef" according to Zagat surveyors) has taken over the reins of Le Jules Verne on the second level of the Eiffel Tower. The très romantic restaurant was unveiled December 22nd 2007.
Historically known for its spectacular views of the city, the new Jules Verne has received a complete overhaul of its interior and menu in order to bring it up to Ducasse's haute standards. Not so easy, especially when you are working 410 feet up one of the world's most famous structures. In fact, every piece of furniture had to be weighed first to make sure that it wouldn't bring the Tower down.

But now all of that is done and the new Jules Verne is ready for its debut with a classic French menu designed to please tourists and Parisians alike, with prices to match its sky-high setting: €75 at lunch and €155–€190 at dinner.
