This delightful décor, which includes listed rooms, gold-leaf detail, columns, caryatids, and baroque box-beam ceilings, provided the setting for an endless stream of artists and writers from Offenbach to Proust.
Despite operating as a post office in the 50s, it has remained intact thanks to frosight of its managers, who decided to cover the walls !

Café Carmen
Could you tell me if you have any entertainment at night -- dancing music -- also what kind of food do you serve and do you have to reserve and what is the average price for a meal and a bottle of wine thanks JY

Café Carmen
It seems they did change their politics. Café Carmen is only to hire for events. So you can't go there any more for a nice evening out except if you're invited or if you're giving a party yourself.
