Bohemian Haunt: Le Divan du Monde

Le Divan du Monde, formerly Le Divan Japonais, this Paris club and concert venue used to be the haunt of Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec and Baudelaire would come for evenings of chansons and vin rouge. Today, the Divan du Monde is one of the best nightclubs and venues the city has to offer.

The musical programme has been updated, with everything from live rock to electronica, but it retains its bohemian atmosphere in a neo-gothic design. During weekends it has an easy-going club atmosphere, the prices are more then reasonable and sometimes concerts are free entrance.
