The new mobile home

Hotel Everland is one of the most unusual hotel concepts in some time: a hotel-cum-art installation that's movable. For the rest of the year untill december 2008 the hospitality novelty is perched on top of Palais Tokyo with jaw-dropping views of the Eiffel Tower.

Conceived bij the Swiss artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann, the pod comes with an open-plan master bedroom, lounge, bathroom, fully kitted-out bar and a record collection. Be forewarned, however : you can only stay one night ( from about 300 Euro) and , until 6 pm, voyeurs are allowed to come and see the space for themselves.

If the idea of small mobile micro-architecture appeals to you, be prepared to et on the waiting-list of two months to experience the pleasures of micro-living.
