On occasion of its 19th edition, the festival surprises us (once again) with intriguing encounters between contemporary art performances and the public.Every year, Paris Quartier d’Eté is different, but always colorful, classical, amusing and distinct.
With a ticket or free of charge, prepare to be overwhelmed by dance, theatre, music and circus shows that bring to life the parks, gardens, avenues and historic monuments of Paris and its suburbs.
Our pluridisciplinary, national and international program invites you to bump into world music concerts in gardens, discover theatre performances in original and unexpected places : in a Bulgarian truck, on the wooden benches of an amphitheatre or even on the edge of the Canal St Martin – enjoy circus at Bercy Village and much more. In the Cour d’Orléans of Palais Royal, as well as on outdoor sites throughout Ile-de-France, the pioneers of contemporary dance will be presented alongside a new generation of choreographers.
Last, but not least, the adventure “Hors pistes” continues and engages audiences in a series of unique meetings with the festival’s artists, including conferences and workshops. Paris quartier d’été is “travelling without moving”, an opportunity to discover and rediscover the city and art.
