Angelina's has such a delightful ambiance, a little old-fashioned but charming. After a visit to the Louvre it is a very welcome pause. It can be rather crowded and noisy, but also very relaxing depending on the time of your visit. Of course service can be alternating too, as can be imagined.

The food is excellent. They have a large selection of pastries, cookies, etc., as well as a lunch menu for those looking for something a bit more substantial. Salads and sandwiches are excellent.

But their famous hot chocolate (made of melted candy bars, topped with REAL whipped cream. Very thick and rich, delicious!) is divine and a memorable drink. You can buy their cocoa at the shop and nowhere else, so stand in line for it.
