A Shakespeare play in an open-air theater in the middle of Bois de Boulogne

The Pré Catalan (Catalan Meadow) to the southeast of the Parc de Bagatelle includes the Jardin Shakespeare in which plants, flowers and trees mentioned in Shakespeare's plays are cultivated.

This enchanting garden turns into one of the loveliest open-air theatres each spring. The stage setting, dotted with fragrant plants, briars and flowerbeds, gives on to lush green lawns for spectators to sit on.
